JENEKET/JANEKEK

Resipi ni pernah saya taruk kat earlier posting. Anyway, saya attachkan lagi di sini resipi yg bersumber dari Kak Siti (mekasih kak!).

























Janekek
600 g tepung gandum
200 ml air
1 tsp (bumbung) potas (saya gunakan bicarbonate of soda sbb potas tkde stok!)
1/2 tsp garam halus
2 bj telor (grade B)
200 g gula caster
1/4 tsp instant yeast
2 tsp (rata) baking powder
1/4 tsp pewarna kuning (optional)

Cara:
Telur dan gula dipukul hingga kembang. Masukkan potas, instant yeast dan baking powder. Pukul lagi.

Kemudian masukkan tepung, air, pewarna kuning dan garam dan di uli rata. (Kalau guna mesin Kenwood gunakan K beater). Uli rata2, adonan ni agak lembek. Adunan diperap selama 8 jam atau semalaman.

Ambil sedikit adunan, lalu dleperkan dtapak tangan (biar tipis sedikit) lalu masukkan ke dlm minyak yang banyak dan d goreng hingga masak.

Nota: Taburkan sedikit tepung pd papan dan kayu penggelek. Ambil adunan dan dtepek2kan dgn sedikit tepong dan gelek tipis2. Buat hingga habis barulah dgoreng.

Bro..Jeneket ni adik beradik cakoi ke? Tapi awatnyalah kena perap sampai 8 jam...lama bebenor!

It's a little similar. Maybe you can refer to my 2 other recipes on jeneket, posted on 16 Sep 06. One calls fr 1 hour proofing while the other abt 4-5 hrs.

Yes sis. You need to halve the water quantity too.

Assalamualaikum.
You won't believe me. I ate tis jeneket was way back in the 80's. My kakak buat and I tukang goreng, it need constantly splash minyak on top as making it to rise. Terima kasih byk2 brader for sharing. Insyalla I will try making for my teenage kids. Salam sejahtera buat you sekeluarga.

As slm Rozzan. Tq share resipi roti jeneket. Zaman2 kecil masa di spore dulu arwah mak selalu buat untk ank2 dia yg tersayang. Arini tiba2 teringat roti jeneket dan kueh mueh yg arwah mak sediakn untk sarapan. Nasib baik Rozzan ada share dlm blog ni. Boleh lh try resipi Rozzan. Tqsm Rozzan!!!
